The largest number of admissions was made in the week ending 11th March 1899, when 113 plague patients were admitted ; and on any one day, on the 10th March 1899, on which day 25 plague patients were admitted. The total number of deaths during the year in this hospital was 1,508, of which 1,161 were due to plague.
