MACIVER— *KENNETH MACKENZIE, Captain, South African
Rifles ; awarded Military Cress ; thrice mentioned in despatches ;
accidentally killed in Nyassaland, Oct. 30, 1918, aged 38-
JAMES, Major; served in East Africa. This fine soldier was
wounded in the Soudan, at Battle of Atbara, in the Kitchener
Advance, 1898. JOHN, Sergeant; had served 20 years in the
Regulars, rejoined on outbreak of war; served in Gallipoli,
Salonika and Egypt. *WILLIAM M., Sergt., 2nd Rhodesian
Infantry ; came to France and was killed 22ud March, 1918,
aged 36 (sons of the late Sergt. Malcolm Maciver).
