THE Lawfull Cadets of the FAMILY

LESLEY of KINCRAIGIE the First.

1. WILLIAM LESLEY Second Son to Sir William Lesley the
Fourth Laird of Balwhaine and Elizabeth Fraser his First
Lady ut supra P. got from his Father the Lands of

Craigtowie, and bought from his eldest Brother Alexander the
Lands of Kincraigie about 1470.

HE married Ross Daughter to Ross

of Achlossin. She bare a Son William, who succeeded to his
Father.

2. WILLIAM LESLEY of Kincraigie succeeded to William of
Kincraigie his Father. He married Bessie Strachan Daughter
to Robert Strachan of Balhousie in Angus. She bare Three
Sons, Alexander, Patrick and James and a Daughter
Lesleys. This William died 20^th Aprile 1501. Alexander
his eldest Son succeeded to him.

PATRICK LESLEY the Second Son was Laird of Lochtilloch.
JAMES LESLEY the Third Son was called James of the Kirk-
town of Knockinblews.

LESLEY the Daughter married
Lichton in the Mernis.

3. ALEXANDER LESLEY eldest Son to William 2^d of Kincraigie
succeeded to his Father. He married Margaret Gordon
Daughter to George Gordon of Holhead. She bare Two Sons,
George and John Lesleys. This Alexander died 6 Junii 1554.
George his eldest Son succeeded to him.

JOHN LESLEY Second Son to Alexander of Kincraigie suc-
ceeded to his Father. He married Janet Gordon Daughter to
Gordon of Brakae. He dwelt in Durno (forte
Dornoch). He had Sons, John and Andrew Lesleys.

JOHN the eldest married Janet Gordon Daughter to John
Gordon of Brakah. She bare Two Sons, John a Soldier in
Holland, where he died, & James slain at Innerkeithing
Fight.

ANDREW Second Son to John Lesley of Durno. He dwelt
