remiſſioun of our ſynnis bygane, and alſo that we
may be his grace eſchaip the dangear of all tempta-
tiouns, & ſa fall norcht agane to dedely ſynne. Now
laſt of all we aſk at God our mercyfull father to de-
liuer us fra euil. And this is ane general petitioun
aganis all euil eternal, ſpiritual, & corporal or tem-
poral, bot becauſe yat we have ſchawin to zow afore
of ſynne, and the paynis eternal yat followis ſynne.
Now we think it expedient to ſeik of reporal euil,
quhilk is tribulatioun, aflictioun and aduerlite of
this warld. It is thairfor to be notit, that almychty
God deliueris his ſeruandis and barnis be adop-

nemo poteft claudere, quia modicam habes virtute
