Eczema, Pemphigus and skin eruptions.—There were 11 cases of pemphigoid skin eruptions,
every one of which was streptococcal. In two of these a stock pemphigus streptococcus
vaccine was used with completely curative results and so the autogenous vaccines were not
used. There were 8 cases of staphylococcal eczema in this class, but the results of autogenous
vaccine treatment in these cases were not satisfactory. It was either because the organisms
were not the causative ones or else the skin eruption was the result of a general constitutional
condition.
