was transferred. Any further details as to future attacks of diseases, etc., was to be made on
his card there. By this system it is hoped that there would be an improvement in—
(1) the easy detection of carriers,
(2) their early isolation; and
(3) prompt administration of specific treatment
and these in turn should—
(i) prevent outbreaks of epidemics and greatly reduce
(ii) hospital admissions,
(iii) and the general mortality rates.
