    (xiii) The following table shows the number of rats identified. In

    In addition to the above, 16 dead rats were received from other
sources. Two rats sent from a rice mill in Kanoungtoe were found
infected with plague.

    During the year of report 1,145 fleas were received from the

    (xiv) Identification of snakes.—Thirty two snakes were identified
during the year. They belonged to the following species:—

(12) Lycodon aulicus.

(13) Typhlops diardi.
