sources. Two rats sent from a rice mill in Kanoungtoe were found

(xiv) Identification of snakes.—Thirty two snakes were identified
during the year. They belonged to the following species:—
(1) Xenopeltis unicolor.
(2) Zamenis korros.
(3) Dryophis mycterizans.
(4) Psamodynastes pulverulentus.
(5) Natrix stolatus.
(6) Chrysopelea ornata.
(7) Lycodon fasciatus.
(8) Oligodon splendidus.
(9) Natrix subminiatus.
(10) Zamenis mucosus.
(11) Oligodon cruentatus.
(12) Lycodon aulicus.
(13) Typhlops diardi.
