      I HAVE the honor to submit the report of the Principal of the Medical College
for the Session 1879-80 with appendices.

      2. Not having as yet had sufficient leisure to make myself acquainted with the
working of this institution, I abstain from remarking on the report. The sugges-
tions raised in paragraphs 19 and 20 I am referring to the Surgeon-General with
the Madras. Government for his opinion, and on receipt of his reply will address
Government separately.
