duties connected with the several institutions over which they have presided.
Dr. Chevers, to whom the thanks of Government have been so frequently
communicated for his management of the Medical College Hospital, has now
permanently withdrawn from the sphere of usefulness in which he has labored
with so much success for so many years, and in which he has gained the esteem
and respect of all classes of the community.
