     5. For convenience I have included the returns of those corps*which took
part in the Malta and Cyprus expedition in the total
for the Presidency Division and Aden, and this arrange-
ment gives a larger average strength for that Division
than any shown in previous years. The following four tables give the average
strength, daily sick, admissions, and deaths in hospital, in the Divisions into
which the medical administration of the Army is portioned, separately, for the
year under review, together with the rates prevailing for the five years preced-
ing it.
