NOTE 1.—To each tube a standard platinum loopful of blood is added and shaken up and after standing 12 hours the observations are recorded.
               H=Hæmolysis. " Complete" signifies that after standing 12 hours there was no sediment at the bottom of the tube.
               " Trace" generally implies that a spectroscope was necessary to detect the hæmoglobin in solution.

NOTE 2.—The double line marks the point where the hæmolysis was well marked. The single line marks the point where the hæmolysis was
               very slight.
