SERIES No. VI—Experiments to determine the minimum lethal dose for rabbits
by intravenous injection of the pure venom of Bungarus fasciatus.

    The poison was carefully dried fresh venom of Bungarus fasciatus. A
1per cent. solution in sterile salt solution was made. Five-fold and ten-fold
dilutions of this original solution were prepared when necessary. All the solu-
tions were kept unheated. The injections were made into the marginal vein of
the ear of the rabbit.

    The following were the results obtained :—
