   In both the Dam Dim district and the Chelsa district therefore the months
that are healthy as regards malaria are notable for the low incidence of Black-
water Fever cases; whilst in those at the latter end of the year when malaria is
rife the incidence is much higher.

   Our own cases seen between August 1907 and July 1908 have occurred as
