January 1897 | .. | 2 years in Duars. Born and lived previously in Darjeeling. Had a relapse in both attacks without administeration of quinine. Pa- tient being in charge of a nurse. First attack lasted 2½ days ; there was an interval of 1 day, then hæmoglobinuria for 2 days, but not so severe as at first. Second attack lasted about the same time. After second attack had fever for about 4 days. At this time had 2½ grs. quinine every three hours subcutaneously, but no Black-water Fever ensued. |
