Government of British Burma. 19th June 1874. Act XXII. of 1864 (Cantonment Rules). Within four miles around the cantonment. ..   Rs. A. P. 2nd class. The jail Hospital Assistant, who has also charge of this hospital, drew this allowance since 1st July 1878.
Since 1st November, the duties of cook and peon were amalgamated, and performed for Rs.10 per mensem.
