   SIR,—I have the honor to submit to His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief
and to Government a report on the working of the Lock Hospitals in this Presidency
for the year 1877.

CIVIL (4).

1. Madras.

3. Thayetmyo.

4. Tonghoo.

   3. Statistics of Treated.—The subjoined statements show the number treated,
the average daily sick and the average stay in hospital of patients during the last
five years.
