      Examiners will devote to each candidate the following time in
each subject:—

            1st—Professional—10 minutes to each subject, with the
      exception of Pharmacy and the Handling of Domesticated
      Animals, which should occupy 20 minutes, each.

            2nd.—Professional—15 minutes to each subject.

            3rd.—Professional—30 minutes to Equine and Bovine
      Medicine and Surgery, Operative Surgery, Ageing and Sound-
      ness, each, and 10 minutes to Obstetrics, Hygiene, Veterinary
      Law and Meat and Milk Inspection, each.

      35.    One month previous to the holding of the Examinations
the Principal will provisionally draw up a programme for the
approval of the Board.

The programme thus approved must be posted on the Students'
Notice Board two weeks previous to the commencement of the
examinations.

      36.   The proceedings of the Board should be drawn up in
triplicate and signed by all members before it is dissolved, one
copy to be sent to Government through the Director of Public
Instruction, one to the Inspector-General, Civil Veterinary Depart-
ment, and one to be handed over to the Principal for his information.

      37.   In the proceedings the Board may record its opinion on
the general standard of the students brought before them and make
any recommendation which, it considers, would lead to the better
education of students. A list showing the number of marks obtained
by each student in each subject as well as the total aggregate should
be attached to the proceedings.

      38.   The Board will also record in a book specially kept at the
College the marks awarded to each student in different subjects and
note whether he has passed.

      39.   Prizes shall be awarded on the basis of the results and
diplomas presented to those who pass the Third Professional
Examination.

      40.   The published curricula of the several branches of study
shall be the basis of the examination by the Board, the Teaching
staff being responsible that students are taught up to the standard
there indicated in the respective subjects. No alteration in the
published curricula shall be made without the express sanction of
Government.

      41.   The Examiners can, in case of doubt, recall any student for
further examination; they are empowered to refuse to examine
any student provided their reasons for so doing be recorded for
information of the Board of Examiners. The awards of marks by
the Examiners shall in all cases be final and not open to question.
