Before giving these it is necessary to state the average number of completed
lactations per cow in each generation.

It is therefore seen that F.1 and F.2 have reached their best, whereas F.3 have not.

It must be noted that the Sindhi cows were specially selected for their milk
yields from a large herd, therefore selection in the progeny should be continued ;
poor and abnormal milkers, also long dry periods are omitted in order to arrive
