In order to be sure of the results obtained in this paper, the butter from a
a single cow (Sundari) during September to January had been analysed. These
were clarified at 50° C. in an air oven in the laboratory. During September
and October, the cow mainly lived upon straw-chops whereas during November
to January she had been on pasturage during the day time.
TABLE III

(The milks were collected after a week. During September and October 1937, the
Cow mainly lived on paddy-straw. From November, the cow was put out to grass
till January, 1938.)
