The vaccine has been found to be absolutely safe for animals of all ages, including
those in advanced pregnancy without a single mishap. No reduction in milk yield
has been noticed on any of the farms where vaccinations have been carried out on
a fairly large scale.
Immunity tests
Immunity tests have been carried out in the laboratory on hill cattle as well
as those belonging to the experimental dairy and the herds at Mukteswar and Izat-
nagar by challenge with virulent virus and the results are summarised in Table II.
