2.  Colonel J. W. A. Morgan held the appointment of Inspector-General,
Civil Veterinary Department, up to 16th August 1908 on which date he retired
from the service. He was succeeded by Colonel H. T. Pease, C.I.E., who
assumed charge of his duties on 3rd September 1908, Mr. C. A. Innes, I.C.S.,
Under-Secretary to the Government of India, Department of Revenue and
Agriculture, held charge of the current duties of the office in the interval
between 16th August and 3rd September 1908.
