I AM directed to acknowledge the receipt of your letter no. 2607/XIX
—II-351, dated the 28th June/11th July, 1923, with which you forwarded
the Annual Administration Report on the Civil Veterinary department, for
the year ending 31st March, 1923.

2.     Government have read your report with interest. With ruference
to your remarks as to the cutting down of District Board's Veterinary Staffs,
and the difficulties which this entails, I am to say that Government are
aware of the situation which has been created and are taking such action
as is possible.

3.     The work performed by you and your officers was satisfactory, and
I am to thank you for it, on behalf of Government.
