GOVERNMENT OF BOMBAY.

      DEPARTMENT OF HORSE-BREEDING OPERATIONS.

      ANNUAL ADMINISTRATION REPORT, FOR THE
                          OFFICIAL YEAR 1887-88.

brought forward; I branded 11 mares for pony and
rejected 7.

collected for my inspection ; 10 mares were branded for

This brought my tour in the Dhárwár District to a close.

10. General Remark.—The mares are as a rule small in height. The
country is well suited for pony-breeding, and in a few years I expect to find a
great improvement in the stamp of pony.
