110. Referring to paragraph 1 of Government Resolution No. 7443 in the
Revenue Department, dated 2nd November 1887, I beg to state that I inspected
the mares in the Sátára District during the year under review. Belgaum and
Bijápur have always been unfavourably reported on, and I am of opinion that it
would be waste of money touring in these districts.
111. The information as regards coverings at the various stations asked
for in paragraph 2 of the above Resolution is given in Appendices VIII.
