93. Two of these have been kept at Ahmednagar for the use of the remount
and outside mares. The third was sent to the 3rd Light Cavalry, Poona, to serve
the regimental and district mares. The stallion covered 12 mares during his
stay in the regiment. None of the breeders took advantage of the horse's
services while he was at Poona, and, as he was no longer required, I had him
removed to Sirur.

falling into a drain.
