13. Clinical Instruction.—This was carried out as usual in the
Bai Sakarbai Dinshaw Petit Hospital for Animals. During the year
under report 3,392 in-patients and 802 out-patients were treated ;
a total of 4,194 patients. Of the in-patients 696 were equines, 1,847
bovines and 849 miscellaneous. The average daily attendance
was 214.
14. Discipline.—The students have been well behaved and
their attendance at Lectures, demonstrations and clinical classes
has been satisfactory.
15. The Laboratory.—During the year under report
705 smears were submitted for examination and opinion. The fol-
lowing table shows the nature of disease suspected and the result
of examinations :—

16. Employment of Graduates.—Of the 9 graduates who passed
out in 1922, 3 are in the service of Government or Local Bodies, 4
in the service of Native States and 2 are engaged in private practice.
Of the 19 graduates who qualified in 1921, 9 are in the service of
Government or Local Bodies, 6 are in the service of Native States,
2 are engaged in private practice and 2 died. Of the 21 students
who passed out in 1920, 13 are in the service of Government or
Local Bodies, 7 are in the service of Native States and one died.
Thus out of the total of 49 graduates who passed oat of the College
in the last three years, 25 are in the service of Government or Local
Bodies, 17 are in the service of Native States, 4 are engaged in
private practice and 3 died.
