7.    The results of the Annual and Supplementary examinations
held during the year were as follows :—

In the final year or class C, 51 students appeared and
33 passed. In class B, 29 appeared and 17 passed and in class A,
33 appeared and 21 passed. The percentages therefore this year
for the three classes were 64.70, 58.62 and 63.63 respectively as
against 56.81, 64.58 and 58.62 last year and on the total 62.83
as against 61.98 last year.

8.    Of the 83 students on the rolls at the commencement of the
First Session (June), 1 student discontinued the course on account
of ill-health, 4 on account of family circumstances and 5 left the
College having passed the Supplementary examination. There were
thus 73 students' names on the rolls at the end of the year as
against 99 at the commencement.

9.    There were 9 scholarships vacant at the commencement of
the year viz., 4 for youths from the Presidency Proper and 5 for
youths from Sind. Of the 4 vacancies from the Presidency Proper,
3 were awarded to new students in class A. The Commissioner in
Sind did not send any scholar from Sind. There were in all
8 scholars from the Presidency Proper and 1 from Sind studying
at the College.

The Central Provinces Government continued stipends to
2 scholars already studying at the College and sent 2 new scholars.
The States of Chhota Udaipur, Bansda, Jaipur and Mysore conti-
nued stipends to their scholars. His Exalted Highness the
Nizam's Government continued stipends to the 3 scholars already
in the College. In addition, the States of Sawantwadi and Dharam-
pur each sent 1 fresh scholar. There were thus 24 students in
receipt of some assistance and 49 without such assistance at the
end of the year.

10.    The Students Hostel.—The average number of students
occupying the Hostel during the year was 40 as against 38 last
year. The messing arrangements of students continued to be
satisfactory. All arrangements at the Hostel and the students'
Gymkhana were satisfactorily carried out by the Hostel Superin-
tendent Mr. Khan.

11.    The Students Gymkhana.— Students availed themselves of
of the Tennis Courts, and games such as foot-ball, hockey and
cricket were played as usual. Athletic Sports were held as before.
Thirteen students enlisted themselves in the Indian Territorial
Force (Urban Infantry) and received military training.

12.     Excursions of Students.—Local excursions were made to
places of interest from a veterinary point of view. Excursions to
outside places had to be abandoned as a matter of retrenchment.

13.    The Health of Students.—The health of students on the
whole has been good. The Medical Officer attended whenever
necessary.

14.     Discipline.—The students have been well behaved and their
attendance at College was satisfactory.
