11. The results of the Annual Examinations held in April were

12. The Board of Examiners considered these results to be
satisfactory. The supplementary examination for the students
who failed in one subject at the Annual Professional Examinations
was held in October. Seven students from class C, 4 from class B
and 5 from class A appeared and all passed.

13.Scholarships.—Of the 9 Government Scholarships attached
to the collage, 2 scholarships were vacant. In April 1 scholar
having graduated left and 2 scholarships were withdrawn as the
holders failed in the Annual Examinations. There were thus 5
scholarships vacant at the commencement of the collegiate year.
Of these, 2 were awarded to two old students in class C and 3 to
three new students in class A. With effect from this year
Government sanctioned two additional scholarships for each class
to be awarded to students from the scheduled classes. The two
scheduled class students who joined during the year were granted
scholarship from this new award.

14. The Sind Government sent 6 new scholars and continued
stipends to 6 scholars already in the college. The Kashmir
Government continued stipends to 5 scholars and awarded an
additional scholarship to one student already in the college.
The Kotah State continued stipends to their 3 scholars. The
States of Jodhapur, Kolhapur, Cambay, Indore and the
Governments of H. E. H. the Nizam's Dominions and of the
Federated Malay States continued the stipends to their scholars,
while Bikaner, Mangrol and Jawhar States each sent one scholar.
Thus of the total of 138 students, 42 were stipend holders and 96
private students.

15.Clinical Instruction.—This was carried out in the Bai
Sakarbai Dinshaw Petit Hospital for Animals as usual. During
the year under report, 7,258 animals were treated at the Hospital
as against 6,266 last year. Of these 2,587 were In-patients
(451 Equines, 661 Bovines and 1,475 Canines) the daily average of
patients being 93. Antirabic Vaccine injections were given in the
case of 34 dogs.
