(k) Any person disputing the charge made by an Assistant for
private attendance may appeal to the Deputy Commissioner,
who, in case of doubt, may consult the Superintendent, Civil
Veterinary Department.

95.  Two statements showing (1) the details and class of patients treated
(Form No. XXV—3) and (2) the number of animals treated (Form No.
XXV—6) shall be submitted after the close of each month by the Veterinary
Assistant in charge of the Sadar Dispensary, the former to the Secretary, or,
Chairman of the Local Body, as the case may be, who will transmit the
same, through the District Veterinary Inspector, and the Deputy Superin-
tendent in charge of the Division, to the Superintendent, Civil Veterinary
Department, and the latter to the Superintendent, Civil Veterinary Depart-
ment, through the District Veterinary Inspector and the Deputy Superin-
tendent in charge of the Division, a copy being at the same time sent to the
Local Body concerned for information.

96.   An Annual Report on the working of Dispensaries in each
district shall be submitted by the Veterinary Assistant through the Tahsildar
or other Chairman of the Taluq Board to the District Veterinary Inspector,
who will compile a report for the whole district from the Dispensary
reports and submit it together with those reports through the Deputy
Superintendent of the Division, the Chairman/President of the Local Body, and the
Deputy Commissioner, to the Superintendent, Civil Veterinary Department,
whom it should reach by the 15th May at the latest. The year to which
the Annual Report will relate shall be that ending the 31st March.

97.  The annual report should be accompanied by Tables II, III, IV, V
and XIV of the list given in Appendix G.

The Veterinary Assistant in charge of the Dispensary will be held
responsible for the correctness of the figures embodied in the statements.

98.   Indents for medicines, etc., shall be prepared by the Veterinary
Assistant in Form No. XXV—4 and submitted, through the Local Body, to
the District Veterinary Inspector, who will, after checking them, forward
them to the Superintendent, Civil Veterinary Department, through the Deputy
Superintendent in charge of the Division for approval. The Superin-
tendent will see that the proposed expenditure does not exceed the
budget allotment for the purpose, check and pass the indent and send it to a
reliable firm asking them to supply the articles direct to the Dispensary,
sending the bill of cost through the Superintendent. The Superintendent
will verify the correctness of the charges and forward the bill to the Local
Body for direct payment to the firm.

                        (3) Peripatetic Veterinary Assistants.

99.  Veterinary Assistants, other than those in charge of town Dis-
pensaries, are of two classes: —(1) men whose duties are solely peripatetic
(2) men who are posted as Second Assistants and whose work is mainly
touring. The rules below apply to the first class in all cases, and to the
second, when on duty away from the Dispensary.

100.  A peripatetic Veterinary Assistant shall attend all outbreaks
