                                                Rules.

1.  All agricultural cattle and all animals, the property of Government
and of the Municipal Committee, Pachmarhi, and of persons not paying
income-tax, will be treated free of charge; provided that persons exempted
from paying income-tax as Military Officers, shall be considered as paying
income-tax for the purpose of these rules. Except in the case of major
operations (including castration) the charge for which is inclusive, an
additional fee of two annas per 24 hours or part thereof will be charged
for any animal occupying a box, stall or kennel at the Hospital as an
in-patient.

2.   Owners are required to provide bedding, food and attendance for
in-patients except in the case of dogs, which will be tended by the Hospital
mehtar. He will also prepare food provided for dogs by owners.

3.   Medicines and Hospital necessaries such as lotions, cottonwool,
etc., prescribed in private practice, whether by the Hospital staff
or other persons, will be supplied, if desired, from the Hospital on
payment of the fees at the full scale prescribed in the case of treatment
at the Hospital, the number of days for which medicines, etc. are supplied
being the number of days for which treatment will be charged.

4.   The fees referred to in Rule 3 cover only the charges for medicines,
etc. and do not include any fees payable under the rules relating to private
practice.
