46. Table XIV (a) shows the expenditure of the Department.
The total expenditure during the year was Rs. 1,71,801-7-10
against Rs. 1,78,041-13-10 of the previous year.
47. The Local Boards in Assam incurred the following
expenditure in connection with Veterinary charges. These
figures are furnished by the Boards and are included in the above
