13. Hostel.—All students except two who lived with
relatives in the College area and were specially exempted, resided
in the college hostel and their general health and behaviour were
quite satisfactory during the period. One student unfortunately
contracted lobar pneumonia and was sent to the local medical
college hospital for treatment where he died on 23rd February
1931.

14. Mr. G. N. Roy Ghoudhuri, Professor of Surgery and
Obstetrics, was appointed by Government as warden of the
college hostel for the session. He discharged the functions of
the above post in a very efficient manner and to my entire
satisfaction.

15.  Library and Museum.—Both the library and museum
are housed in one room in the main building and are in charge
of a librarian who is also an Artist Photographer. Many
pathological and parasitological specimens which were at the
head office museum were transferred to the college museum and
are kept there duly preserved for practical demonstration to
students.

26. The library could not be fully equipped for want of
sufficient funds. Attempts were made to partly equip it by
purchase of books as far as funds permitted during the year and
by obtaining the transfer of a part of the head office library to
the college.

17.  Athletics.—The students formed an association of their
own which started its activities in the college playgrounds and
played several matches with the local teams and the Regimental
teams at Dinapur.

18. Chemical and Biological Laboratory —Mr. M. B. Bose,
M.sc, Lecturer in Biology and Chemistry, was in charge of the
equipment of these two laboratories.

19.  Pharmacy Section.—Mr. S. I. H. Akbari, G.B.V.C.,
Lecturer on Materia Medica and Therapeutics, was in. charge of
this section and students received instruction in practical
pharmacy from him.

20. Anatomical and Physiological Section —Mr. J. M. Lahiri,
M.A.R.C.V.S., F.Z.S. (Lond.), Professor of Anatomy and Physiology,
was in charge of this section. Practical lectures and demonstra-
tions in Anatomy and Physiology were given to the students
by the above Professor.

21. Hygiene Laboratory.—A Hygiene Laboratory was started
in one of the rooms under Br. A. C. Choudhuri, B. SC., Ph.D.
