7. At headquarters, in addition to the usual office routine,
I visited the Cattle Breeding and Dairy Farm, Patna,
occasionally, and once on an official visit, I inspected the farm
herd and gave necessary instructions on the disposal of the
surplus stock, irrigation and cultivation of crops, etc.

8. During the short period of five months I travelled
2,368 miles by road, in addition to the journeys performed
by rail, and was on tour for 57 days.

9. During the period of seven months, Mr. Davis as

occasional visits to the Patna Cattle Breeding and Dairy Farm
and interviewed the stipendiary students for admission to the

14. In consequence of the earthquake of January 1934 and
the severe floods which followed in its wake, the conditions
of touring in North Bihar districts were far from satisfactory
rendering it difficult to pay the usual visits to those districts
during the year.
