                                                                       PHYSIOLOGY.

1.    Explain the terms—Absorption, Secretion, Digestion, Generation and Nutrition, and
                    give examples of each.

2.    Give a short description of the mechanics of the circulation of the blood.

3.    Desoribe the venous circulation, with special reference to the limbs.

4.    Describe the action on the food, of saliva, and how is it secreted?

5.     Give a short account of the action on food from its entrance in the mouth, until its
                    expulsion from the body as fœces.

6.    What is Animal Heat, and how is the body temperature regulated?

7.    Describe the process of digestion in cattle.

8.    What is meant by reflex action, and give an example.

9.     How is urine secreted, and describe its passage out of the body.
