Area of subdivision is 543,360 acres ; cultivated area 456,300.

Practice of feeding cattle in this subdivision is not uniform ; that is to say,
in some places they are grazed in pasture fields at day during rains and
fed in stall at night with either straw only and straw stooped with
oilcake, and in other places they are tethered in fields during hot at day
and return homo at night for rest only in a pen or enclosure kept for
the purposes. No grain is allowed.

The price is subject to fluctuation. Hulls and cows are sold locally at
Rs. 10 to Rs 12 and Rs. 15 to Rs. 20 respectively. The bullocks when
young at Rs. 6 to Rs 8, and when tit for the yoko at Rs. 15 to Rs. 20.
