Total land in acres 414,700, of which cultivated 275,800, of the remaining
78,920 acres for homestead, jungle, rivers, &c., 40,000 waste land left un-
cultivated and for grazing.

owner.

From after six months to one year the calves are weaned, and then they live

Gelded up to the age of 3 to 4 years. From 1 to 2 years after they are

Straw is stored by the people as fodder for cattle. This is not sufficient for
the whole year. Is merely sufficient for grazing.
