Total area of thedistrict 929,280 acres, of which cultivating area estimat-
ing to 584,000, grazing and sterile areas cannot bo given, no data being
available.

There is land suited for cattle-breeding in Government estate at Jaipur.

Cart bullocks imported from othe districts are stall-fed, and country bulls,
cows and bullocks are both grazed and stall-fed. The imported bulls
are also allowed oil-cake. The cows also got grains as well as oil-cake.

grazed and stall-fed after they are weaned. They are partly stall-fed
even before they are weaned.

At the age of 2 years generally. When they get two teeth, the calves are
gelded, and when 6 years, they are made to work.

They are imported here for the purpose of drawing carts and being yoked.
