What is the total land area of the subdivision (cultivated, grazing, and

994 square miles. Not practicable.

No such Government land available. Land from estates Nos. 5514, 5575
and 5528 khas mehal tenants and zamindars can be had on payment
of certain compensation.

any grain, &c., is allowed?

The cattle are allowed to graze in the fields in dry season, but stall-fed
in rainy season. Grain is never allowed.

No. Only there is occasional scarcity in parts of Kotwalipara police-
station Elaqua.
