What is the total land area of the subdivision (cultivated, grazing, and
sterile, separately, if practicable)?

The area of the subdivision is 615 square miles, of which 400 square miles
are cultivated, about 140 square miles grazing, and 75 square miles
sterile.

Is any land available on a Government estate or otherwise, and if so, on
what estate, which is suited for cattle-breeding?

Sadne char, char Pangashia, Lal Mohon, char bund, char Bhairal, and
Lord Hardinge are on Government estate suited for cattle-breeding.
Besides these chars the Bhasan char in Zozumudoli outpost belonging to
zamindars are also fit for the purpose of grazing.

The cattle are allowed to graze. No grain is allowed.
