                                I.-VETERINARY INSTRUCTIONS.

                                                  THE STUDENTS.

1.     Class A.—Seventy-three students joined this class at the beginning of
the session, including one student who failed last year, but who was permitted
to remain at the College to continue his studies. Withdrawals and removals
reduced the number to 52 (47 Hindus and 5 Muhammadans), of whom 46 were
allowed to go up for the examination. Thirty-six passed, making a percentage
of 78 against 95 of last year.

2.     Class B.—There were 23 students in this class, including 3 who failed
last year. Of these, 20 were Hindus and 3 Muhummadans. They were all
allowed to go up for the examination, and did remarkably well, as all of
them except one passed, making a percentage of 95 against 69 last year.

3.     Class C.—The number of students in this class during the year was 10,
including one of last year's failures, of which 9 were Hindus and 1 was a Native
Christian. They were all allowed to appear for the examination and 8 passed,
making a percentage of 80 against 88 of last year.

4.     The examinations were held from 7th to 12th March 1905 by an
Examining Board composed of—

5.    Table I, showing the main results of the College during the year

                                                     STIPENDS.

6.    During the year 30 students held Government stipends, 30 District
Board, 1 Municipal, 1 Woodburn Scholarship, 1 Assam Government Scholarship
and 1 Shew Bux Bogla Scholarship.

                                                        PRIZES.

7.     The diplomas, certificates and prizes were distributed on the 24th
March 1905 by Hon'ble Mr. L. Hare. Thanks are due to the gentlemen
