The capacity of the Nagpur Mental Hospital is at 54 superficial feet per patient, for 458 males
and for 142 females, total 600.
The maximum number of patients confined on any one night during the year was 410
males and 104 females, total 514.
The maximum number of patients confined on any one night during the year 1938 was 402
males and 106 females, total 508.
The maximum number of patients confined on any one night during the year 1937 was 378
males and 104 females, total 482.
