Was admitted in very bad health, emaciated and semi-
paralysed. During P. M. a large clot of blood of a dirty
brown color was found under the duramater, pressing
considerably on the left cerebral hemisphere.
In addition to the usual appearances in dysentery, the
left pleura adherent all over. Heart fatty and soft, liver
mottled, and right lung had a spot of gangrene.
Admitted in a weak emaciated condition and kept him
till diarrhœa came on. Heart small and soft; extensive
ulceration and congestion in the large intestines.
