The daily average number of patients employed in the
vegetable garden was 200.

The construction of four wells in the vegetable garden for
the purpose of irrigation, as reported last year, are now nearing
completion.

33. Finance.—(a) Receipts.—The receipts from all sources
amounted to Rs. 23,879 in 1931 as compared with Rs. 21,668
in 1930 and Rs. 20,066 in 1929.

The following table shows the total amount of realization
from paying patients, and also miscellaneous receipts which
include the sale-proceeds of articles manufactured by patients
in the occupational therapy classes :—
