(b) Medical Library.—The medical library was also
replenished by few new books and the usual supply of medical
and mental journals were continued.

41. New works and maintenance and repairs to the buildings.
All the buildings of the hospital were maintained in an efficient
state of repairs. Some special repairs were carried out by the
Public Works Department to some of the buildings during the
year.

No new major work was taken up during the year under
review.

42.   Finance.(a) Receipts.—The receipt from all sources
amounted to Rs. 24,011-10-6 in 1933 as compared with
Rs. 24,765-3-1 in 1932 and Rs. 23,879-2-6 in 1931.

The following table shows the total amount of realization
from paying patients and also the miscellaneous receipts which
includes the sale-proceeds of vegetables and other articles
manufactured by the patients in the Occupational Therapy
Departments :—
