19.   General.—The proposal to transfer some of the old and infirm
inmates of the Minbu Mental Hospital to the Mingoon Buddhist Infir-
mary in Mandalay has not materialized for want of necessary staff at the
Infirmary to look after the patients.

20.  Staff.—Major H. A. H. Robson, M.B., I.M.S., held charge of the
Mental Hospital, Rangoon, throughout the year. Lieutenant F. H.
O'Leary, I.M.D., was his Deputy up to the 19th May 1925, when he was
relieved of his duties by Major E. A. Picachy, I.M.D. On relief
Lieutenant O'Leary took over charge of the new Hospital at Tadagale.
A temporary staff was entertained for the care of the patients transferred
to the new buildings. Doctor C. S. Krishnaswami was in collateral charge
of the Minbu Mental Hospital up to the 10th November 1925, when he
was relieved by Doctor K. R. Menon. Thanks are due to these officers
for the efficient performance of their duties.
