6 NOTE ON THE MENTAL HOSPITALS IN BURMA FOR THE YEAR 1933.

My acknowledgments are due to Major Fraser for the able and
efficient manner in which he performed his duties during the year
under review. Under his charge discipline has been satisfactory and
his ready co-operation in reducing expenditure has been invaluable. I
also wish to place on record my appreciation of the manner in which
Dr. W. H. D. Newton, I.M.D., Superintendent, Mental Hospital,
Minbu, carried out his duties during the year.

I have the honour to be,

                                                                SIR,

                                                Your most obedient servant,

                                                C. A. GILL, Colonel, I.M.S.,

                                    Inspector-General of Civil Hospitals, Burma.
