      One Vaccinator under Sub-Assistant Surgeon SUMMERS.

It is satisfactory to report that the assistant vaccinator who joined the Peynt State in
June 1862, has shown much zeal in the performance of vaccination during the past 12
months ; the excess in the total number vaccinated the past, compared with the previous
year, amounts to 157, of the total number vaccinated 128 are shown in the return as
unsuccessful, for which no cause is assigned in the vaccinator's Muratha report. The
people in the district are desirous of availing themselves of the benefit of vaccination, but
averse to bring the children to show the result.
