49 tubes of English lymph were used; 55 children were operated
on ; 282 insertions were made, and there resulted 34 good and 10 imperfect
vesicles. The success cannot be considered as good as desirable ; but it
gave a supply of English lymph, which once started we could multiply
to any extent required.
