Work done by Local Fund
Vaccinators.

Statement No. I.

18. The Local Fund Vaccinators performed 362,595 primary operations,
of which 333,390 were "successful," 4,001 "un-
successful." In 25,204 cases the result could not be
ascertained, and in 403 cases the operation was done
more than once. The percentage of success is 92.05.

They did 30,437 re-vaccinations, of which 18,991 were successful, 3,369 un-
successful and 8,077 remained unascertained. Percentage of success 62.39.

19. Every district shows a decrease of work in both operations, except Sind,
in which there is an increase of 995 in primary operations counterbalanced by a
decrease of 810 in re-vaccinations. The heaviest decrease is in the Central
Registration District.

Municipal Vaccinators.
Statement No. I.

20. The Municipal Vaccinators performed 54,389 primary operations, of
which 48,672 were successful, 1,270 unsuccessful and
4,447 cases remained unknown, 233 cases being in
excess. The percentage of success is 89.87. In re-
vaccinations they did 9,677 operations, 4,231 were successful, 1,761 unsuccessful
and 3,685 unknown, whilst there were 2 excess operations. The percentage of
success is 43.73.

The falling off of the work in this Establishment is also general, the only
exception being that 105 persons more were re-vaccinated this year than last in
the Southern Registration Circle.

The largest decrease, 3,507, is in the Presidency Circle, due partly to the
large amount of re-vaccination work done in two previous years when small-
pox was prevalent.

Sind shows a decrease of 3,501 and then the Central Circle of 2,999.
